Try downloading it from a desktop or laptop.
Install and launch
Via will update automatically to new versions on Windows.
If you don't want to auto-update, use the
.zip release. Via is located at bin\Via.exe in the download.
Download a .deb for AMD64
AMD64: Download .tar.gz
Or install it from the command line:
$ CPU=$(dpkg --print-architecture)
$ wget https://www.simunto.com/data/via/release/debian/simunto-via-app_25.1.0_${CPU}.deb
$ sudo apt install ./simunto-via-app_25.1.0_${CPU}.deb
System Requirements
Operating System: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). Mac OS X 12.3.0 or newer. Linux.
Memory: 4 GB RAM or more free. For visualizing large scenarios, we recommend 8 GB RAM or more.
Do you already know Tramola?
While Via focuses on visualization and analysis, Tramola is the tool of choice for editing and managing MATSim scenarios. With Tramola, you can:
