Quick Start

After you downloaded Tramola from the link below, unzip the file, and then you can start Tramola with the following command:

java -Xmx2g -jar tramola-21.0.0.jar

After a few seconds, you should see a message that Tramola is ready, and you can open http://localhost:3471/ in your browser where you will be guided through additional installation steps (e.g. create first admin user, download MATSim). After that, you’re ready to go.

There is some early documentation at docs.simunto.com/tramola/, but this clearly needs additional work and details. So if you have any question, please write me an email, so I can assist you. A good place to start is probably docs.simunto.com/tramola/user/getting-started/, where several ways of interaction with Tramola are explained.

I know that there are still some rough edges in Tramola. Still, I hope that you are able to give it a try and that it already helps you a bit.

I am very interested in any kind of feedback:

  • What did you like?
  • What did you not like?
  • What was confusing?
  • Where did you have problems, or where did you first have to figure out something?

And also:

  • What features do you like most?
  • What missing features would be most beneficial to you?
  • How do you plan to use Tramola?
